1. What we collect (and don't)

receipts. is operated by AricCivicLabs.Org. Our tools are designed around a strict privacy model: your inputs never leave your device unless you explicitly export or copy them yourself.

• Salary figures, ROI estimates, or any financial data you enter into our calculators
• Employer names, job titles, or company information
• Grant data, program metrics, or donor information entered into nonprofit tools
• Team data, project values, or business financial data
• Any calculation results or generated documents

• Contact form submissions — if you reach out via our contact form, we receive your name, email, and message via Formspree
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe; see Section 3
• Basic analytics — aggregate, anonymized page visit data; see Section 4

2. How your data works in our tools

All receipts. calculators, coaches, and tools operate entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Here is exactly what that means:

• Calculation dataJavaScript memory (RAM) only. Your salary figures, ROI estimates, and financial inputs exist only while the page is open. Closing or refreshing the tab destroys them permanently.
• sessionStorageUsed only to remember your unlock state (whether you've paid to access premium features) within the current browser tab. Cleared automatically when you close the tab. Never contains your calculation data.
• localStorageUsed in two limited cases: (1) to restore form field values you entered in a previous visit, as a convenience feature, and (2) by InAble to persist your subscription unlock state across sessions. The Destroy button clears all localStorage entries for the tool.
• Cookies (tool data)Not used for tool data. See Section 4 for analytics.
• Server transmissionYour calculation data is never sent to our servers. The exception is AI coach inputs — see below.
• Destroy functionEvery tool includes a "Destroy session" button that clears all JavaScript variables, sessionStorage, and localStorage for that tool and resets the UI immediately.
• AI coach callsWhen you use AI coaching features, the text you type is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. This is a live transmission to a third-party service. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle that data. See Section 5 for details.
• ExportsJSON and PDF exports are generated client-side only. Files are created in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. We never receive a copy.

3. Payments & Stripe

Purchases on receipts. are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you click a purchase button, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout. We do not see, store, or handle your payment card details at any point.

Stripe may collect and process:

• Your name, email address, and billing address
• Payment card details (stored and processed by Stripe, not by us)
• Browser and device information for fraud prevention

Stripe's processing is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. We receive from Stripe only the confirmation that a payment was completed and the email address you provided, which we use to send your receipt.

After a successful payment, your purchased documents are unlocked in your current browser session. Because our tools do not store data between sessions, you should download or copy your documents before closing the tab. We are not able to re-deliver unlocked document content after your session ends, though you may purchase again if needed. See Section 11 for the refund policy.

4. Cookies & analytics

receipts. may use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how our tools are used in aggregate. This helps us improve the product.

• We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers
• Any analytics we use are aggregate and anonymized — no individual profiles
• We do not use tracking pixels or cross-site tracking

You can block or clear cookies using your browser's built-in controls without any loss of tool functionality, since tool data is not stored in cookies.

5. Third-party services

• StripePayment processing. Receives your name, email, billing address, and payment card details at checkout. stripe.com/privacy
• Anthropic (Claude API)AI coaching and analysis features. The text you type into coaching prompts is transmitted to Anthropic's servers to generate responses. Anthropic's data practices govern those inputs. anthropic.com/privacy
• VercelHosting and deployment infrastructure for all AricCivicLabs products. Standard request logs (IP, timestamp, URL) are retained per Vercel's data retention policies. vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• FormspreeContact form submissions. When you submit a contact form, your name, email, and message are stored by Formspree and delivered to us. formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy
• Google FontsTypography delivery via CDN. A connection to Google's servers is made when pages load. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use advertising networks, social tracking pixels, or data brokers.

6. Your rights

Because receipts. tools do not store your personal or financial data on our servers, most standard data deletion requests are satisfied automatically — the data was never collected. For any data we do hold (contact form submissions, Stripe transaction records), you may:

• Request to know what personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of contact form or transaction records
• Withdraw consent for any communications

8. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using receipts. tools at this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the tools.

These Terms apply to all tools operated under the receipts. brand by AricCivicLabs.Org, including ROI calculators, career transition tools, coaching tools, and any associated documents and exports.

9. What receipts. is (and isn't)

receipts. provides tools to help you:

• Estimate and structure the value of your contributions to an employer, project, or organization
• Prepare for compensation or funding conversations
• Organize and communicate career and professional data
• Practice communication and presentation skills

receipts. does not provide:

• Guaranteed salary outcomes or compensation benchmarks
• Legal, financial, tax, or employment advice
• Audited or certified financial calculations
• Any assurance that documents generated will achieve a particular outcome

All ROI estimates, benchmarks, and figures are self-reported or drawn from publicly available data. Your employer, funder, or counterpart may assess value differently. Use receipts. outputs as a starting point for conversation, not as final or authoritative figures.

10. Acceptable use

You agree to use receipts. tools only for lawful purposes and in ways consistent with their intent. You agree not to:

• Use the tools to create fraudulent, misleading, or materially false documents
• Misrepresent the source or authority of any generated document (e.g., representing an estimate as an audited figure)
• Misrepresent your identity, your employer, or any third party in generated documents
• Impersonate a company, HR department, organization, or official institutional source in any document generated using these tools
• Add company names, logos, or branding to generated documents in a way that implies those organizations authored, endorsed, or verified the content
• Present generated letters, reports, or narratives as official employer communications or certified financial records
• Input confidential, proprietary, or trade-secret information belonging to an employer or third party into AI-powered features without authorization to share that information with third-party AI services
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce the tools for commercial redistribution without permission
• Use the tools in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

receipts. tools are intended for personal, professional, and organizational self-assessment. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you input and for how you use or share the outputs. Any company names, logos, or branding you choose to include in generated documents are added solely at your discretion and do not represent official communications from those organizations.

11. Purchases & refunds

Paid features on receipts. unlock premium document exports (PDFs, formatted reports, letters, grant narratives) generated from your inputs in the current session. These are digital deliverables. Because they are generated and delivered instantly upon payment, they are considered delivered at the moment of unlock.

We offer refunds within 48 hours of purchase if:

• The document unlock did not function correctly due to a technical error on our end
• You were charged but did not receive access

We do not offer refunds for:

• Documents successfully unlocked and accessible in your session
• Outputs you feel did not meet expectations after reviewing them
• Sessions you closed before downloading your documents

To request a refund, email support@aricciviclabs.org within 48 hours of your purchase with your Stripe receipt number.

All receipts. tool purchases (document unlocks, coaching sessions) are one-time payments and do not auto-renew. InAble subscriptions (monthly and annual plans) are recurring and will auto-renew until cancelled. Subscription pricing, billing cadence, and cancellation terms are disclosed clearly on the InAble purchase page before you complete payment.

12. Intellectual property

The receipts. tools, design, code, and brand are owned by AricCivicLabs.Org. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the tools without written permission.

Documents you generate using the tools — including letters, reports, and narratives — are yours to use for your own personal and professional purposes. We claim no ownership over the content you create using our tools.

13. Disclaimers & limitations of liability

receipts. tools are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The tools will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Benchmark data used in calculations reflects current market conditions
• Any document generated will achieve a specific outcome for you

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AricCivicLabs.Org shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of receipts. tools or reliance on their outputs. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for that transaction.

receipts. outputs contain only self-reported estimates and publicly available data. All generated documents include a disclaimer to this effect. You are responsible for verifying any figures you present to employers, funders, or other parties.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of receipts. tools after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice (e.g., a notice on the main page). For questions about any changes, email support@aricciviclabs.org.

15. Document disclaimer — what appears on every export

Every document generated by receipts. tools — including letters, reports, grant narratives, and performance summaries — includes the following disclaimer automatically:

This disclaimer travels with every exported document so that recipients — employers, funders, managers, or other parties — are informed of the nature of the content regardless of whether they have read these Terms.

You agree not to remove, obscure, or alter this disclaimer when sharing generated documents with third parties.
